See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. On January 14th and 15th, Joe Gumm, Anchor, flew to Memphis to visit the campus of St. Jude Children's Hospital. KOKH sponsors all of St. Jude's annual fundraisers to help sick children. Jeff George, Meteorologist, volunteered at the Children's Center on January 20th and February 15th, working with children who have complex medical conditions. Jen Jantzen, Assistant News Director and Liz Dueweke, Anchor, emceed the 3000 Read Together event at the State Fairgrounds, sponsored by PaceButler, a local cell phone recycling company. This event's goal was to get 3000 children together to read. Tiffany Tatro and John Biebrich, News, participated in the Polar Plunge at Frontier City, raising money for the Special Olympics. KOKH promoted the Salvation Army Keep Kids Warm event, collecting scarves, jackets and gloves for needy children. Andrew Speno, Anchor, spent the school day at West Field Elementary on March 6th, as part of the Watch Dog program, working with students on tutoring, mentoring and interaction with positive adults. Jeff George emceed the MDA Lock Up event on March 20th, raising over $2,000 to benefit Muscular Dystrophy. KOKH launched the Dream Home Ticket Giveaway on March 15th which benefits the children of St. Jude Children Hospital. Viewers purchase tickets to win the designated "dream home" in June, and all money raised goes to St. Jude's. John Wilhelm, Promotions, gave a tour on March 21st to a group of ten scouts from Scout Pack 90-Den 6. KOKH aired public service announcements geared toward children such as Partnership for a Drug Free America, 4H Science, Wildfire Prevention, Weather Preparedness, Recycling for the Environment, The Red Cross, St. Jude Children's Hospital, Dangers of Texting and Driving, Bill Nye: Exploravision, Judge Alex: Stop Bullying, Good Manners, Saving Wildlife and United Way.
