Both programs are regularly scheduled 30-minute core children's programs airing on WRAL 5.1. The preempted portions of both programs were not rescheduled. **Due to WRAL's breaking news coverage of Hurricane Irene on August 27, 2011 and the one-hour CBS News Special Report "Irene Strikes" airing on August 28, 2011, the following regularly scheduled core children's programs were preempted and not rescheduled: Smart Start Kids (WRAL 5.1), Busytown Mysteries I (WRAL 5.1), Busytown Mysteries II (WRAL 5.1), Brain Game (WRAL 5.1), Doodlebops Rockin Road Show I (WRAL 5.1), and Trollz (WRAL. 5.1). ***Cake (WRAL 5.2), a regularly-scheduled 30 minute core children's program, was preempted on 7/23/11 and rescheduled to air on 7/29/11. The public was notified of Cake's rescheduled date/time. The above report indicates 'other' as the reason for the preemption. Specifically, the program feed was interrupted due a lightning strike which affected the proper operation of equipment. ***Due to the airing of the "U.S. Open Tennis" on Saturday, September 3, the following core children's programs were preempted and rescheduled; Smart Start Kids (WRAL 5.1), Busytown Mysteries I (WRAL 5.1), Busytown Mysteries II (WRAL 5.1), Brain Game (WRAL 5.1), Doodlebops I (WRAL 5.1), and Trollz (WRAL 5.1). In all instances, the public was notified of scheduling changes for each affected program. CBS NETWORK PROGRAMMING LINE-UP CHANGES: Due to network fall programming changes effective Saturday, September 17, 2011, the following core children's programming changes occurred: Busytown Mysteries I (WRAL 5.1, aired Sunday at 11am EST on 9/18 and 9/25), Busytown Mysteries II (WRAL 5.1, aired Sunday 11:30am EST on 9/18 and 9/25), Doodlebops Rockin' Road Show I (WRAL. 5.1, aired Saturday 10:30am EST on 9/17 and 9/24), and Doodlebops Rockin Road Show II (WRAL. 5.1, aired Saturday 11am EST on 9/17 and 9/24).
