The topics ranged from drug awareness to the Center for Missing Children. WABC-TV also ran sevral promos for Kids Night on Broadway (kids age 6-18 get to see a participating Broadway show for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult and participate in a variety of theater-related activities). In addition, our public affairs program, Tiempo, dedicated an entire segment to an interview with Anna Maria Chavez, the new Chief Executive Officer of the Girl Scouts of the USA and her experiences as a former Girl Scout and her initiative to get more Latina girls into the Girl Scouts.
