This may include information on any other noncore educational and informational programming that you aired this quarter or plan to air during the next quarter, or any existing or proposed non-broadcast efforts that will enhance the educational and informational value of such programming to children. See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. In 4th quarter, KMTW co-sponsored GingerBread Village for the Assistance League of Wichita. The event raised $59,000, with all proceeds used to purchase school supplies and clothes for local children in need. KMTW also co-sponsored the Salvation Army Angel Tree for less fortunate children to receive gifts during the holidays. This year, nearly 10,000 children were helped. KMTW also sponsored the Hats & Mittens drive to benefit the children of Child Start/Head Start. Over 1100 hats and mittens were collected and distributed to the children. The station also supported the "Night of Living Zoo" a fun-safe, three-night trick-or-treat event for younger children. The event raised nearly $32,000 for the Zoo's operation fund. KMTW aired the Adopt Kansas PSA's featuring 2 new children each month that are up for adoption. KMTW also hosts a website, "askachild.net" which has links to local, state & national agencies available to help parents/guardians raise their children or grand-children in today's world. The Wichita Police Department has a brochure with the links to hand-out to the public when they encounter a problem house-hold in the community. PSA's aired for children during the quarter included: Kansas Kids Read, no to bullying and Serious Fun Camp, a place for children with life-threatening diseases to get away for a week of camp.

In addition to puppets and animated characters, Gina D is surrounded by a group of whimsical characters which include Simon, Miss Muffin the Cook, Mr. Pockets and Pierre. As the program takes on an interactive quality through questions and reactions from Gina to a multi-culturally diverse group of youngsters who are sometimes on and off camera, she attains and maintains the attention of young children to help further develop their self-image, social skills, math readiness, and reading readiness. Various themes throughout the program may include bike safety, not talking to strangers, and stopping at traffic lights. Through different scenarios and easily learned original songs, these lessons are imparted to the target audience. This program aired on the secondary digital stream, The Country Network, channel 35.2
