Include any other comments or information you want the Commission to consider in evaluating your compliance with the Children's Television Act (or use this space for supplemental explanations). This may include information on any other noncore educational and informational programming that you aired this quarter or plan to air during the next quarter, or any existing or proposed non-broadcast efforts that will enhance the educational and informational value of such programming to children. See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. | During this reporting period, KAZD added 3 program providers to the multicast stream. One of the providers had no children's content, while another was airing 6 hours. One of the multicast providers decreased their children's programming content unexpectedly from six hours to three a week. Once KAZD-TV learned of this change, the station had to find additional children's programming content to air. Although able to make up some of the deficit hours, KAZD-TV will be deficit in this reporting period. Therefore, the station is making up that time in the current (3rd quarter) reporting period. |
