See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. During the 2nd Quarter, WBFF continued to the serve the educational and informational needs of children through broadcast and outreach activities. The station continued to air PSAs for local and national organizations serving the interests of children including spots for the Dept of Health and Human Services, Dept of Education, Boy Scouts, Oregon Ridge Nature Center and many local libraries. During the 2nd quarter, WBFF produced PSAs promoting health, safety and educational needs for children. We worked with local organizations including Dance and BMore, My Little World Educational Music Series, UniverSoul Circus, Pratt Library. We produced a summer reading PSA, bike safety, and spots promoting movement and dance as a way to stay healthy and fit. The station airs on a daily basis a community calendar featuring activities and programs of interest to children and their families. Throughout the 2nd Quarter, the station broadcast its CollegeBound Scholar of the Week campaign saluting graduating seniors from Baltimore City public high schools for their academic achievements, leadership and community service. Scholars of the Week serve as positive role model for younger children and share a sense of pride and hope with all ages. WBFF served as media sponsor of the Port to Fort 6K to benefit Believe in Tomorrow Childrens Foundation provide housing for families of critically ill children as they undergo treatment at local hospitals and respite housing for families as they live with the medical conditions. The station also sponsored the Urban Visionary Awards to benefit the Center for Urban Families. The station continued to offer station tours to local schools, scouts and trade schools, staff participated in career day activities at local schools, meteorologists presented weather lessons in local schools, and station management served on several local boards of directors for non-profits serving youth.
