On July 22, 2013 an anchor participated in Golf Fore Kids, sponsored by Community Healing Centers, an event that raised money for a child advocacy center that works with children who are victims of sexual and physical abuse and neglect. On September 18th two members of the on-air news staff were part of the Ambucs 50th Anniversary golf outing, that raised funds to purchaser AmTryke Therapeutic Tricycles for local children suffering from disabilities. In the state capitol at the Student Statesmanship Institute, a reporter spoke to a group of high school students about politics and journalism. On both digital streams numerous psa's aired covering such topics as Girl Scouts, adoption, hunger prevention, child passenger safety, childhood asthma, food safety, discovering nature and Childhood Autism.
