Five year old Wimzie and her mother Graziella, an airline pilot, live in Yaya's house as does Rousso, Yaya's best friend-even if Yaya is at least one hundred and fifty years old (and counting) and Russo is much more than a hundred years her younger. Graziella is more than ecstatic to have found a warm and comfortable home as well as a loving environment for her daughter, Wimzie, while she is off on her somewhat unorthodox work schedule flying around the world.
