See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. Day of Hope Car Show - August 24-25, 2012 - KUTV/KMYU - Car show fundraiser to benefit the SLC Children's Justice Center. The Salt Lake County Children's Justice Center is an exceptional program, contributing major advancements in the field of child abuse investigations. The program serves 3,700 people annually and provides critical assistance with investigations involving sexual abuse, physical abuse, child homicide, domestic violence related child abuse, abductions, and shaken baby syndrome. We were the media partner on this first time event, so we did a morning show live, a cooking segment live with Chef Bryan, and participated in the food truck judging at the event. Ronald McDonald Telethon - September 24, 2012 - KUTV/KMYU held a telethon, first year event, to raise money for the Ronald McDonald house. The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home where families can stay during their child's medical treatment at various hospitals in Utah. Stays can be as short as one night or as long as several months, and sometimes extend to a year or more, depending on the child's illness and treatment. We partnered with them to raise money for the new facility they are breaking ground on. The telethon ran from 6a-6p and we raised thousands of dollars.
