Even during a quarter when the station airs its preemptive bi-annual telethon the station's quarterly children's programming is 72 hours which is still 33 hours more (72 vs 39 hours) for its primary digital channel as required by Commission Rule 73.671 (Note 2) This quarter the station aired 84 hours of core children's programming on it's main channel since there were 14 Saturdays in the quarter vs. the normal 13 Saturdays. Furthermore the station aired 88.5 hours per week of additional cre children's television programming, or 1150.5 hours for the quarter on its two digital sub-channels. This represents 1078.5 hours, on average, above the seventy-two hours of additional children's television programming per quarter specified by the Commission in this circumstance. Our 4th channel LaFuente, our Spanish channel was launched on 6/18/12. This quarter the station aired an average of 11.5 hours of core children's programming per week, or 149.5 hours for the quarter on the Spanish channel. |
