Include any other comments or information you want the Commission to consider in evaluating your compliance with the Children's Television Act (or use this space for supplemental explanations). This may include information on any other noncore educational and informational programming that you aired this quarter or plan to air during the next quarter, or any existing or proposed non-broadcast efforts that will enhance the educational and informational value of such programming to children. See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. | In light of the termination of full-power analog television stations in 2009, questions 7b & 7c are no longer applicable. Nevertheless, the electronic filing system requires a response ('Yes' or 'No'). Please note that due to the transition of incoming & outgoing programming for the Fall season, two of our kidvid programs "The Real Winning Edge" & "Sports Stars of Tomorrow" ended on 9/10/11 & the replacement shows did not start until 9/24/11. On 9/17/11, we aired alternate episodes of "Jack Hanna Animal Adventures" & "Into the Wild". These were completely different episodes from the 1st run. Please also note that due to high school football programming, our kids block has temporarily been moved to 1p-4p, and 'Teen Kids News' & 'Animal Exploration w/Jarod Miller' will air at 3p & 3:30p respectively. At the end of the season, 12/17/11, the programs will move back to their 12p & 12:30p time periods. |
