See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. | CHECK YOUR HEALTH - ongoing campaign - KUTV solidified the long-term working relationship with the Department of Health & Intermountain Healthcare for Check Your Health and Baby Your Baby. Check Your Health is a campaign that includes media coverage on KUTV & with the Simmons radio group. Commercials and stories are run that encourage viewers to make good choices, be active and eat healthy. This campaign has a broad range that we are trying to reach; male, female, old and young. BABY YOUR BABY - on going campaign - this campaign focuses on women 18-35, sharing the message of seeing your doctor 13 times during your pregnancy and by the 13th week you are pregnant. We cover stories, have in studio interviews and maintain multiple social media platforms that encourage women to participate in pre-natal and post-delivery care. DAYS OF '47 YOUTH PARADE- In July, we worked with The Days of '47 youth parade. The parade recognizes modern day pioneering and encourages pioneering principles. We sponsor programs and events celebrating the influence and importance of the pioneers of yesterday and today. In just a few blocks, there are marching bands, creatively decorated floats, performing groups and several thousand children having a grand time. KUTV supported the parade with on-air promotion spots, spot production and news coverage. DAYS OF '47 YOUTH FESTIVAL - The Youth Festival participants find free activities, games and attractions for hours of family fun, while learning important principles of safety, service, prevention and cultural diversity. This is an opportunity for kids to learn while they play. Large and small booths sponsored by local organizations feature games, hands-on learning activities and prizes. The Interactive Safety Area offers life saving information and sporting events that motivates kids to be more active. The International Culture Area educates kids regarding customs and traditions from around the world. KUTV supported the Festival with on-air promotion spots, spot production and news coverage. ANTI-BULLYING CAMPAIGN - KUTV/KMYU launched a new initiative to increase awareness of bullying and to stop it from happening. This new promotion, fronted by NBA player, Jimmer Fredette, is aimed at two groups: parents & students. Parents learn how to talk to their kids about bullying and then give them the tools to stop it if they see it. Students learn that is cool to be nice and bullying is unacceptable. We are doing commercials campaigns and segments that get this important message out to both groups of people. |
