KEYE TV also provides information to educate children on the many careers in the broadcast field and donates to community events benefiting children in our area. Creative Services Director, Steve Harris, led a tour of students from YPW Spanish school of the station high-lighting possible careers in broadcasting. Also during this quarter a KEYE News reporter spoke at YPW Spanish school about journalism and television. The station participated in the Art Institute of Austins fair helping graduating students present themselves to potential employers and asking employers to help students identify what they are looking for when they hire. Blanton Elementary summer program toured KEYE TV's facilities on June 11th of this quarter. |
