This art fair hosts 300,000 to 400,00 visitors and this is their annual fundraiser. "Fun Facts" is a monthly on-air/website campaign that promotes a fact about the city of Minneapolis. Vivian Moore, Sr. Local Sales Assistant, is a member of 100 Strong, and spoke to a class of first graders at Pratt Community School on September 1st. She talked about her career, why education is important, and what she loves about her job. The school wide project was "What Do I Want To Be When I Grow Up?", which consisted of students identifying what they would like to do, then drawing pictures of themselves in their careers. WUCW aired the following public service announcements geared towards children; Better Life: Play an Instrument, Sharing, Reaching Out to Others, Ad Council: Lorax/Explore Nature, Pet Adoption, Child Obesity, Going to College, Think Before You Say, YMCA: Exercise and be Healthy, Clean Hands, Love is Louder, Help Wildlife, Take Care of Yourself, Clean Teeth and Don't Drink and Drive.
