KEPR ran PSA's during the quarter of interest to children covering topics such as drug abuse, child abuse, don't text and drive, etc. From the information provided in the PSAs, children and viewers may better identify problems and handle difficult situations as they arise. Also this quarter KEPR co-sponsored the annual Safe Kids Saturday teaching children important safety messages. Along with the event there were also PSAs and news stories. The station also produced PSAs and news stories in support of Kidz Dig Rigz teaching children about fire trucks, tractors, tanks and more. During the quarter KEPR hosted 3 tours for youth groups who also witnessed a live news broadcast and learned about careers in broadcasting.
