Tulsa State Fair - September 26 - October 6 This is a station wide project for News on 6. Our booth is designed to raise awareness and funds for the Eastern Oklahoma Community Food Bank's "Backpack Program", which we call Food For Kids. The booth is manned by station employees and our News Anchors come out in two-hour shifts to meet and greet. Tulsa Komen Race for the Cure - September 28, The 17th Annual Tulsa Komen Race for the Cure was held at ONEOK Field in downtown Tulsa. The News on 6 is the only media partner. Six in the Morning did a live 30 minute broadcast from the race. The News on 6 had a photo tent set up and took over 300 team and individual photos which were posted on our website and available for download.
