Produced for ages 13-16, Sea Rescue offers educational and entertaining television by demonstrating the welfare and medical benefits that rescue and rehabilitation programs provide animals. Viewers will also learn that there's a reciprocal benefit: rescued animals provide valuable insight into their biology and ecology. This information adds to the pool of knowledge necessary to conserve threatened and endangered species. Each week, Sea Rescue will leave its audience inspired by the real-life stories of the featured animals and rescuers and with a fuller understanding of the rich array of sea life with which we share our planet.

Here is their story: Mitch and Jennifer have adopted three sisters, ages 8, 9, and 11 named Jules, Bri, and Maggie. Little did these sisters know that their adoptive parents had a huge surprise in store for them this holiday season: adopting their brother Brian, age 14, who was still in foster care at the time. Mark Peterson and the Extreme Team worked tirelessly to build Mitch and Jennifer a new bedroom in order to comply with adoption regulations requiring that each child must have their own room. Without this bedroom, the four siblings would not have been reunited in time for a holiday surprise. During their time with Mitch and Jennifer the sisters have thrived in their warm, loving, and comfortable home, and the Extreme Team made it their goal to bring Brian home as well.
