Children will easily identify with the main characters: Abelardo, Contreras, and Lola. On December 3, 2011 the Telefutura Network preempted two episodes of this program for the broadcast of the "Teleton in Mexico." This is an annual 28-plus-hour TV and radio broadcast, started in 1996, to raise money for children's rehabilitation centers (known as Centro de Rehabilitacion Infantil Teleton or CRIT - "Teleton Children's Rehabilitation Center") for disabled children.
