They are designed to teach children good values, morals, develop character, and how to handle challenging situations they may face in the process of growing up, while also providing entertainment. CTVN's Sharathon preempted weekday core programming from 4/24/2012 through 5/4/2012. "Cowboy Dan ended on 4/25/2012 and a new program, "Sheep Snacks" began in its timeslot on 5/2/2012 (preempted during the Sharathon). Also, CTVN reported preemptions of "Sheep Snacks" on 5/26/2012 and 5/30/2012. On 6/27/2012 a technical problem interupted the video portion of "Dr. Wonder's Workshop" and "Sheep Snacks", but the audio portion was heard.
