The lessons learned in each episode cover a wide spectrum of life experiences. For example, one of the primary characters is Wenzel, a :pig who cannot read., Wenzel forms a special alliance with Lela Bee Bunny, Mr. Houston, and General Sam, who help teach him that he has a value all of his own despite his inability to read. In return Wenzel earns his keep by contributing his handyman skills around the farm. Future episodes will focus on Wenzel's struggle to get an education.
