Describe the educational and informational objective of the program and how it meets the definition of Core Programming. Multicast Digital Channel-The New Adventures of Nanoboy is an action-comedy about a boy who transforms into the world's smallest superhero to fight microscopic villains too small for the naked eye! In the micro-cosmos, the tiny world of cells, molecules and atoms, a battle of good versus evil rages as each week Nanoboy, tinier than the average cell, takes on bad-to-the-bone-bacteria-while trying to survive the biggest challenge of all - being a 10-year-old! Each episode takes place in two worlds: In the human world Oscar tries to live the life of a normal 9 year old, always keeping his identity as Nanoboy a secret, Oscar solves conflicts like peer pressure, and exam stress. In the micro-cosmos, Oscar/Nanoboy encounters bigger-than-life problems-Deranged proteins and Amazonian Amoebas, and with the help of his Nano-team reforms a flu virus and a goofy brain cell. In resolving these crimes in the micro-world, Nanoboy encounters solutions that he can bring back to solve human world problems. On an episode by episode basis, Oscar, in the role of his alterego, Nanoboy, harnesses and uses the power of science and technology to save his world from the meanest and ugliest villains around. In doing so, he teaches target viewers the elements of science and enticingly demonstrates how knowledge can be used to solve difficult problems and meet important aims. This learning becomes all the more impactful because young viewers can readily relate to Oscar. He's bright and fun-loving, and like all kids, he's not perfect. Oscar is small for his age, athletically challenged, and perhaps even a bit nerdy. But when Oscar and his friends are faced with peril, Oscar magically transforms from "everykid" into amazing Nanoboy. Through observation, viewers gain the motivation to use learning, knowledge, and action to transform themselves to meet challenges in their own lives.

Describe the educational and informational objective of the program and how it meets the definition of Core Programming. Using these beautiful countries as a backdrop, Awesome Adventures educates viewers about geography, zoology, history, and world culture through fun action-adventure segments.
