WTVC promoted "Coats for Kids" during the month of November and December, collecting all types of coats through various sponsors to be distributed throughout the community. With the help of United Way there were drop off points for these coats and they were cleaned by various dry cleaners and then given to children in need. PSA's aired during November and December on WTVC promoting the Coats for Kids.
