Their sidekick, Doubting Dave, is based in the Mystery Lab, where he conducts experiments that tie into each episode. Past travels have taken the group to the Oregon forest in search of Bigfoot #Dave makes a footprint cast out of plaster#, to Toronto to visit a 1,000-year-old mummy, and to a spoon-bending workshop in San Francisco. Kids will learn a lot of facts about each featured puzzle/mystery. The show encourages curiosity and discovery.

See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. During the 3rd quarter of 2011 we aired over eight hours of public service announcements targeted toward children. Focus Atlanta, the WUPA community relations program aired three 30 minute specials geared toward parents and children during the 3rd quarter of 2011. On July 10, 2011 we covered the issue of childhood obesity with Go Girl Go, CHOICES for Kids, and a registered dietician. On July 24, 2011 we focused on Bullying Prevention with a teacher, school counselor, and physician. On August 14, 2011 we aimed to educate our audience about Suicide Prevention with surviving loved ones, a social worker and physician. Focus Atlanta airs on Sunday afternoons at 12:00pm.
