See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. WCHS continues to support the community airing numerous Public Service announcements designed to inform viewers of health and safety issues, drug prevention, and the importance of education and the environment. 2nd Quarter 2013 WCHS We were responsible for breaking a story where a county health department was not regularly inspecting area restaurants. As a result of our report, the heath dept is making sweeping changes to address their issues and keep the public safe. During the spring time home buying season and in light of issues meth labs pose to communities and homes, we produced a special report which provided viewers a "home buyers guide" of sorts to alert them to the potential dangers and offer them what they need to know when buying a home. Our Consumer Alerts franchise, which is produced in part by US Postal inspectors, alerts viewers to potential scams and fraud schemes. Our Fugitive Files segment played a key role in helping local law enforcement officers capture their 500th fugitive since the segment's creation several years ago. After deadly tornadoes struck Oklahoma, we spearheaded a local relief effort with the red cross which raised over 40k to help victims get back on their feet.
