This program addresses a range of community issues with interviews between community leaders and every day people. WUCW aired Access Minnesota on Saturdays, October 4th, November 1st and December 6th at 5am. This program is produced by the MN Broadcasters Association and features academics, authors and business leaders speaking about relevant issues in the state. WUCW produced a 60 second public service announcement that addressed the shortage of clothing donation with the local Salvation Army locations. A station tour was given to Tiger Scout Troop 225. They were shown production elements of the studio, given the opportunity to work a studio camera and helped transition the backgrounds on the chroma screen. WUCW was the media sponsor for Al's Super Hero Dash at Lake Phalen on October 11th. This fundraising event supports those living with Lou Gehrig's Disease. Runners were encouraged to dress as super heroes.
