On Saturday, August 4th from 10:02-10:05am, a weather-related signal loss occurred during the broadcast of "Busytown Mysteries I" on KCCI's primary Channel 8-1, which resulted in the loss of approx. 3 minutes of this 30-minute program. ...........................As shown in the response to Question #10, three episodes of "Teen Kids News" (11:30am Saturdays), were pre-empted from their regular time periods by live Tennis coverage from CBS Sports. All of these preempted episodes were rescheduled; one (on 9/8) to its "2nd home" time period on Saturday 9/15 at 12:00n. For the other pre-empted episodes (on 8/25 and 9/1), the "2nd home" was not available, so they were rescheduled to air early Saturday (same airdate), at 4:00-4:30am. Because this is a "noncore" time period, these pre-empted episodes on 8/25 and 9/1 were not included in calculating KCCI's quarterly average of digital core programming (main channel, Question #7a). ............................................ On September 15th, from 11:30am-12:00n, the episode of "Teen Kids News" (#1001) was provided by the syndicator with non-standard placement of the "E/I" symbol, which may have partially obscured the "E/I" symbol on some 4:3 analog TV receivers. HD/widescreen receivers were not affected. The screen placement of this "E/I" logo was corrected by the distributor on subsequent episodes of "Teen Kids News."
