Station employees volunteered at several community events including visits to area classrooms by RTV6 Meteorologists. Participating in United Way Read, Tutor, Mentor program. Station employees ran a water station for the Monumental Marathon that benefits Indianapolis Public Schools. RTV6 supported a local free Thanksgiving dinner for the needy. For the 13th year RTV6 hosted a toy Drive to help area families. Over 5000 children were served from this project.
