This program will serve the audience in a way that will make a real difference in their lives. KIVV-TV ended analog channel 5 broadcasts on February 17, 2009. Since February 18, 2009, the station has broadcast in digital format only, on the stations permanently-assigned digital channel 5. The station aired more than 315 minutes of Public Service Announcements in childrens programming during the 4th quarter of 2011, designed for the education and benefit of children. The station continues to partner with a local merchant in a Committed to Kids campaign that features public service announcements and regular news segments regarding area activities and organizations benefiting childrens causes. As well, the station aired PSAs and promotions for local organizations and events benefiting children, such as the Club for Boys and Childrens Miracle Network. |
