Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. | Throughout 3Q2019 station KVII / KVIH sponsored public appearances by the News Anchors and Meteorologists to local schools and community events to promote the importance of education and community service. On July 16th station management met with the Children's Museum to discuss building an interactive weather exhibit within the museum that will focus on STEM subjects. On July 23rd the General Manager, Creative Services Director and News Director met with the Amarillo Area Foundation to plan for the Panhandle Gives Campaign that launches in October. People across the Panhandle are encouraged to donate to the charities in their communities and matching funds from AAF are available. This is a tie-in to the Day Of Giving that happens the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. On August 3rd the station was the Media Sponsor for AmaCon which is a fundraiser for the Amarillo Public Library. The station's morning and evening anchors attended. On August 15th the General Manager, Creative Services Director and News Director met with the Hispanic Chamber Of Commerce to plan the Mariachi Festival on October 12th.
