Stand for Children Day began in Warren County in 1997 not as a fundraiser but a service and celebration offered to the citizens of our area. We, along with other organizations within the area, come together for one day to raise awareness about the needs of and services available for the area children. The event, currently held at the Bowling Green Ballpark, provides fun activities for children while providing information to families and caregivers about the services available to them in our community. Families, summer camps, and child care centers attend free-of-charge. This safe event is a wonderful way to celebrate the younger members of our community as we take a stand for children.
