KIMA ran PSA's during the quarter of interest to children covering topics such as drug abuse, child abuse, don't text and drive, etc. From the information provided in the PSAs, children and viewers may better identify problems and handle difficult situations as they arise. KIMA hosted 14 students from the LDS Activity Day Group for a station tour in June. The children were also told about various job opportunities in broadcasting. Also this quarter the station participated in the MC Selah Days Parade as well as the MC High School Athlete of the Year Awards. These events were supported by airtime and a news segment.
