RTV6 meteorologists made visits to classrooms to talk to kids about weather and RTV6 provided station tours for youth groups. RTV6 also donated station tours to many non-profit groups and schools to use in fundraisers. RTV6 held a toy drive that provided toys to needy families in the viewing area.
