See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. On Saturday, July 16, 2016 on 9.1, WUSA 9 aired a CBS News Special Report (Presidential candidate Donald Trump announced his VP pick) from 11:11-11:57am. Innovation Nation and The Inspectors were partially preempted. This was a breaking news situation. On Sunday, August 28, 2016 on 9.3, WUSA 9 had a technical issue and Chicken Soup For The Soul's Hidden Heroes and Game Changers With Kevin Frazier were preempted. In their place on the same channel, date and time, WUSA 9 aired the children's E/I programming Food For Thought With Claire Thomas from 10-10:30am and 10:30-11am. Food For Thought With Claire Thomas is a live action half hour television program designed to meet the educational and informational needs of children 13-16 years of age. This program informs and educates teens about the power of food as a tool for exploring new places, meeting new people and learning about different cultures. On Sunday, September 25, 2016 on 9.3, Chicken Soup For The Soul's Hidden Heroes at 10am had a technical issue. The audio aired but the video froze. The next program, Game Changers With Kevin Frazier aired in its entirety but from 10:34-11:04am. As a result, the E/I 11am program, Wild About Animals was joined in progress at 11:04am and concluded at 11:30am. On 9.3, the September 25, 2016, Chicken Soup For The Soul's Hidden Heroes will be made good on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 9:30-10am and the September 25, 2016 11am program of Wild About Animals will be made good on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 9-9:30am. All episodes of core programming aired, with the de minimis exception of two episodes that aired at the end of the quarter on 9.3, on Sunday, September 25th: Chicken Soup For The Soul's and Hidden Heroes. On or about October 25, 2016 Bounce TV notified this station that due to a technical error, three programs aired on Bounce TV without the requisite E/I symbol: All In with Laila Ali, Culture Click and Everyday Health. This error occurred between September 10, 2016 to October 15, 2016. In total, 12 hours of E/I programming did not include an E/I symbol. Bounce TV has informed this station that it has established new processes to ensure the technical issue does not recur. Additionally, the affected programs will be re-broadcast with the E/I symbol on Sundays for six consecutive weeks beginning October 30, 2016 through December 3, 2016.
