See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. January through March 2016, WFXL has a weather center set up in Albany's local Thronateeska museum. Once a month our meteorologists goes to the museum to discuss with children the importance of accurate weathercasts and how it affects their lives. He also discusses what is needed to succeed in the field of meteorology. January 28, 2016. our meteorologist Chris Nisinger spoke with students at Matt Wilson Elementary about meteorology and what it takes to put on a weathercast. March 4, 2016 our News Manager discussed careers in journalism and television production at the career day event at Radium Springs Elementary. Approximately 600 students were attending. On Saturday, 01/09/16, WFXL switched affiliations on our 31.3 tertiary channel from GRIT to COMET. As a result, our E/I programming transitioned on that date.
