We believe that these programs have unlimited value. During this past quarter, WKRC conducted weekly tours of its facilities for school age children, cub scouts and brownie troops. WKRC telecast numerous local public service announcements aimed at children 16 years of age and under, as well as PSAs provided by Drug Free America and the Ad Council, which are geared toward children. Our PSA's are designed for a general audience, but also serve children 16 years of age and under. Our general audience programs which serve children 16 years of age and under include our local news which airs Mon-Fri 4:30-7am, 12-12:30pm, 5-6:30pm and Mon-Sun 11-11:35pm. Non-broadcast efforts directed toward children include numerous public appearances this quarter by News personnel. Public appearances are ongoing projects. |
