The Licensee, VCY America Inc is also licensee of WVCY-FM, WVCY-AM, WVCX, WVCF, KVCX, KVCF, KFVL, KVCY, KCVS, WJIC, WVCM, WVFL, WVRN, WQRN, KVCX, KVCH, WPTH, WVCS, WRVX, WQRM, KVCI, KVCN, WVIW, KIRS, KVCE, KVCP, and KVCC. VCY America is the principle stockholder of radio stations WEGZ and WVCN. Each of these stations air programming geared toward meeting the education and informational needs of youth. Children's programming is aired on each of these outlets M-F from 3:45-4:30pm (Central.) Children's programming is also aired Saturdays from 8:00am-10:45 am and Sundays from 2:00-4:00pm (All Central Time.) These programs teach moral values and help children learn how interpersonal relationships can be conducted in a non-combative, but positive way. Moral and spiritual values are taught through the programs. 02. The licensee has a birthday club for children ages 12 and under. A birthday card and gift is sent to each one. Names of children are also read if they have a VCY radio facilities that services their area on the Kids Talk radio program. There are more than 10,000 children in the club. 03. Every Sunday morning VCY America provides staff and volunteers to conduct the protestant service at the County Juvenile Justice Center. The Center is largely comprised of youth in trouble with the law, usually between the ages of 10 and 17. We have a worker for the boys and one for the girls. During the Sunday School time young people are provided a chance to interact with the staff allowing them time to discuss problems or difficulties. If requested by the young people, the staff member will make visits to the Center during the week. We desire to show these youth that life is not worthless, but has meaning. We seek to provide hope and an alternative to the crime and violence of the city. For some, they will not receive any visits except through this program. 04. The licensee was involved in the assistance and extensive promotion of a Kids Kamp 2 at Trail Ridge Camp in Hillsboro, WI. This camp is designed for youth in 3rd thru 6th grade and was held the week of July 8-13. 56 youth were registered for this camp. Jim Schneider, Executive Director of VCY America was the featured speaker for the week. In addition a Junior High Camp was held for youth in grades 6-9 during the week of July 15-20. There were 49 youth registered for this camp. And, a Teen Camp was held July 22-27 for those in grades 9-12. There were 59 teens registered for this camp. Trail Ridge Camp which was started by the licensee also provided a week for RBC Youth Camp during the week of July 29-August 3. there were 207 in attendance. Other Broadcast Related Information: Although the following programs educate and instruct a general audience and not just children, the following programs do contribute to our efforts of educating and instructing children. ORIGINS - a 30 minute weekly programs airs Tuesdays at 5pm, Wednesdays at 1:30pm and Saturdays at 4:00pm. This program aired weekly this quarter with multiple topics including: Nature's Design, the Real Jurassic World, Proteins, Birds, the marvel of the human hand, DNA, etc. Other similar programs are educational/informational dealing with the sciences were also aired weekly including: THE BIBLE AND SCIENCE, ANSWERS CREATION HOUR and various episodes of STEELING THE MIND. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS The licensee airs announcements every quarter for local church ministries and family organizations that include outreach to youth.
