Throughout the quarter Licensee sponsors public appearances by the news anchors, meteorologists and San Antonio Living hosts to local schools to promote the importance of education and community service. In 3Q19 the Licensee began a campaign to support the St. Jude Dream Home. At the end of the quarter, the station raised $420,000 towards a goal of $975,000. A Drive For Education Truck Raffle was held to get school supplies to local families struggling to prepare their kids for the school year. The station held two phone banks during news and lifestyle shows to drive ticket sales. A record setting total of $120,000 was achieved. In August 2019 a successful blood and marrow drive was held with participation from news, lifestyle and sales teams. The Licensee supported the San Antonio Park Foundation's 4th Of July event at Woodlawn Park. The station aired PSAs and hosted a meet-n-greet with main anchor Randy Beamer who also emceed the fireworks show at the end of the event. The station also supported the San Antonio Park Foundation's Jazz'SALive event at Travis Park in September. The station aired over 100 PSAs for the event and help a meet-n-greet during the two-day festival.
