In addition to the programs listed in this report, the station broadcast the following programs specifically designed for children ages twelve (12) and under: NONE. WALA scheduled many elementary and middle school groups for in studio classes which emphasized how good writing skills and computer literacy were necessary if they wanted to pursue a career in television. During the month of September, WALA'S on-air Meteorologists visited local schools to educate children about coastal weather. All preemptions were due to FOX Network live sports coverage and were made good. All Programs aired in their entirety.

"Vets Saving Pets" examines the interpersonal stories of veterinary professionals working to save the lives of animals in need of urgent medical care. "Vets Saving Pets" takes place at the Emergency Veterinary Trauma Center in Toronto, one of the busiest veterinary facilities in Canada. Each week, viewers will be exposed to new emergency cases that will teach audiences about a wide array of specialties within veterinary medicine, such as critical care, oncology, cardiology, neurology, anesthesiology, dermatology, dentistry and surgery. Audiences will witness first-hand the dedication and determination of these veterinary specialists as they work tirelessly to save their animal patients.

A study conducted by The Annenburg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania concerning the implementation of the FCC processing guidelines known as the Three Hour Rule found that "Real Life 101" was highly educational. The series is currently being provided to schools and libraries across the USA by one of the nation's quality educational distributors.

The best invention wins bragging rights and the coveted Genius Cup. In "Think Big", kids acquire and showcase their skills in creativity, science, innovation, marketing, design and teamwork.
