CBS Austin also provides information to educate children on the many careers in the broadcast field and donates to community events benefiting children in our area. Additionally, on April 17th, CBS Austin Chief Meteorologist Chikage Windler conducted a "Weather Talk" for grade school children at Ray Elementary School (Hutton ISD). Mrs. Windler also held "Weather Talks" at Bee Cave Elementary School (Lake Travis ISD) on April 18th; at Cottonwood Creek Elementary School (Hutton ISD) on May 23rd and at the Andy Roddick Foundation Summer Camp (5th Graders) on June 20th.
