This promotion urged viewers to register for the Scrabble Bee. The promotion featured News18 Anchor Savanna Tomei and Meteorologist Matt Schaefer. INTERNATIONAL FOLK FAIR APRIL 6 News18 aired a promotion for the International Folk Fair. This promotion urged viewers to attend the Folk Fair on the UWEC campus. The promotion was presented by News18s Anchor Katie Phernetton. BE A HERO FUN RUN MAY 17 News18 aired promotion for Foster Care Awareness month. This is a fun run called Be A Hero where participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite super hero. This fun run helps to raise awareness for those who are already in a foster home and those who still need help. This promotion featured Anchor Savanna Tomei. MUTT STRUT AND TABBY TROT MAY 18 News18 aired promotion for Mutt Strut and Tabby Trot 5K. This promotion encouraged viewers to attend the walk or run with their pet. Proceeds benefit the Dunn County Humane Association. This promotion was presented by News18s Katie Phernetton. Starting in May of 2019 WQOW added two multicast channels to our Station. Specifically we added Court TV on May 8, 2019 and Justice TV on May 1, 2019. Each of these multicast program streams aired at least 3 hours of children's Core E/I programming each week that the streams aired on our station.
