The portrayal of Beakman is a non-traditional source of authority who answers science questions in a non-traditional way. The quirky, humorous, lively and colorful production values of Beakman's World appeal to youngsters in the target age group. This program is specifically designed to further the educational and informational needs of children, has educating and informing children as a significant purpose, and otherwise meets the definition of Core Programming as specified in the Commission's rules.
