This may include information on any other noncore educational and informational programming that you aired this quarter or plan to air during the next quarter, or any existing or proposed non-broadcast efforts that will enhance the educational and informational value of such programming to children. See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. Following are examples of non broadcast efforts made by KOMU-TV: KOMU-TV sponsorships involve producing and running spots promoting the events and enabling their success. Events benefiting children sponsored in part by KOMU-TV include: Columbia Values Diversity Breakfast, WIN For Columbia Luncheon, Ronald McDonald House Red Shoe Gala, SOMO Polar Plunge, Pascale's Pals and Show Me State Games Hoopin' It Up, MONasp Archery and Volleyball. On-air personalities visit area schools where they speak about journalism and broadcasting. Station Visits/Tours: KOMU-TV is often contacted by schools and children's activity groups with requests for station tours. The children are escorted through the building and the various operations are explained to them. We often assist scouting groups with information necessary to help them obtain merit badges.
