This may include information on any other noncore educational and informational programming that you aired this quarter or plan to air during the next quarter, or any existing or proposed non-broadcast efforts that will enhance the educational and informational value of such programming to children. See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. | KTXS airs a variety of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) in support of important children's issues such as the importance of staying in school, child passenger safety, bullying prevention, drug awareness. KTXS also provides information to educate children on the many careers in the broadcast field through station tours and school visits . On October 27th our CW station partnered with a local non-profit, Alliance for Women and Children to help them raise money. We worked with Hendrick Children's Hospital to create promotional video for them in hopes they could win a grant for their hospital. We have a partnership with Love and Care Ministries who help the homeless locally. We held our biggest fundraiser with them on November 16 that helped collect donations of clothes, food, and money. We also air year round PSAs for them so they will have continual help. We also worked with our local Meals on Wheel on a couple of campaigns to help raise money for them as well. |
