On Saturday, December 15, Wild About Animals, Awesome Adventures and Animal Rescue were pre-empted for breaking news coverage of a funeral for a local firefighter who died in the line of duty. Although those shows were pre-empted for breaking news, they were rescheduled for the weekend of December 22 and 23 as indicated in the pre-emption reports.
