As the Commission is aware, the current licensee, HSH Birmingham (WCFT) Licensee, LLC("HSH"), acquired the station, WSES (TV) from TV Alabama Inc. on February 27, 2015. See BALCDT-2014100CIL. The Licensee is continuing to review its KidVid programming and practices. The Licensee anticipates a network affiliation change on October 1, 2015 from Heartland to Heroes & Icons, which will deliver a fresh batch of educational and informational programming to the station's young viewers. It should be noted that the station's original call sign, WCFT (TV), was changed to WSES (TV) on March 11, 2015. It should also be noted that the Licensee changed its name from HSH Birmingham (WCFT) Liceensee, LLC to HSH Birmingham (WSES&WGWW) Licensee, LLC.
