Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. | On Saturday, August 4, core programs- Ocean Treks Sat. 930am, The Wildlife Docs Sat. 1030am, Rock the Park Sat. 11am, Vacation Creation Sat. 1130am, and Teen Kids News Sat. 12n were interrupted for WCVB NewCenters 5 Breaking Weather News alerts at the top of the hour, and an extended Tornado Warning resulted in the pre-emption of Sea Rescue at 10-1030am. Due to the breaking nature of the emergency weather coverage, Sea Rescue was not able to be rescheduled. On September 1, 2018, core programs- Jack Hanna Sat. 9am, Ocean Treks Sat. 930am, Sea Rescue Sat. 10am, The Wildlife Docs Sat. 1030am, Rock the Park Sat. 11am, Vacation Creation Sat. 1130am, and Teen Kids News Sat. 12n were preempted from their regularly scheduled times due to breaking news coverage of the funeral proceedings of American hero and Senator John McCain.
