WAVE rescheduled a make good to Thursday, July 26 at 2:30pm, keeping it in its second home. On Friday, July 20 WAVE aired Breaking News-Severe Weather from 2:00-5:00 pm causing a preemption of "Journey with Dylan Dreyer" and "Naturally, Danny Seo". Both programs were make goods for Saturday, July 21 preemptions. On Saturday, September 1 NBC News aired Breaking News on Senator John McCain from 8:59 am - 12:32 pm preempting "Health Happiness Mayo Clinic", "The Champion Within", "The Voyager with Josh Garcia", "Wilderness Vet", "Journey with Dylan Dreyer", and "Naturally, Danny Seo". On Saturday, August 18 WAVE had an extra airing of "Health Happiness with the Mayo Clinic". Master Control was set to time switch to local programming (Paid Program) at 12pm. However, time switch did not happen, signal stayed with NBC which was airing "Health Happiness" at the time. When operator returned he stayed with "Health Happiness" instead of leaving the program in progress. From Sunday, September 16 through Friday, September 21, WAVE aired make goods of "The More You Know" programs being preempted by NBC's coverage of The Ryder Cup on Saturday, September 29. However, later we found out that the entire pre-feed was sent without the E/I bug. WAVE recorded another feed of the programs and aired made goods the week of October 1 in their second homes and alternate second homes.
