Las Aventuras de La Abuelita Prudencia (The Adventures of La Abuelita Prudencia) is about Mrs. Prudence is a retired teacher, insightful and very clever, who in his spare time is dedicated to solving mysteries in his village, Moucheron. For this she has the invaluable help of her cat, Estanislas, and a group of children headed by Jojo. Prudence Petitpas, translated in Spain as La grandad Prudencia, is a comic book character created at the end of the 50s by the Belgian artist Maurice Marechal. After his first publications in short comics within the magazine Tintin, the character obtained some recognition, especially in France and Canada, so it could become a product with its own identity, published independently in a total of five volumes between 1962 and 1987. At the end of the 90s, the people in charge of the French public channel TF1 decided to take the adventures of the grandmother to the small screen in the form of a telefilm. Subsequently, the same animation studio would give continuity to the story with this series of cartoons, which consists of 52 episodes.
