KWTX staff members continue to volunteer on various board, committees, councils that are related to improving the quality of life for children in Central Texas. In addition, KWTX continues to promote a comprehensive anti-bullying campaign utilizing television news stories, web stories, and social networking. In addition, in November of 2017, KWTX created a program called "Rhett Revolution" and took that program to Middle School Assemblies throughout Central Texas. In a three day period, we brought a message of kindness and bravery to over 15,000 children.
