Include any other comments or information you want the Commission to consider in evaluating your compliance with the Children's Television Act (or use this space for supplemental explanations). This may include information on any other noncore educational and informational programming that you aired this quarter or plan to air during the next quarter, or any existing or proposed non-broadcast efforts that will enhance the educational and informational value of such programming to children. See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. On April 21, 2018, core program Teen Kids News was preempted from the regularly scheduled time at 12:00PM to air breaking news coverage of the funeral proceedings of former First Lady and American icon Barbara Bush. The late-breaking nature of her passing and scheduling of her funeral service were beyond the control of the station and made it impracticable for the station to reschedule Teen Kids News. On Saturday, June 16, Jack Hannas Animal Adventures moved from 1:30PM to 12:30PM the public and publishers were notified in advance. Beginning Sunday, September 2, 2018 Teen Kids News and Jack Hannas Animal Adventures will move to 1:00 & 1:30PM (from Saturdays at 12:00 & 12:30PM) due to ABC College Football. WPBF will advise the public in advance. One or more episodes of children's programming that was preempted during the quarter was not rescheduled. The Digital Core Programming Summary section of this report would not permit the station to include preemption reports for such unrescheduled preemptions, and FCC Staff has advised that no preemption report for such unrescheduled episode is necessary.
